Watercolor Dress

It was an outdoor ceremony in a gorgeous backyard. It was so much fun and we couldn’t be happier for the newly weds. When we received the invitation, I immediately started dress hunting. I knew I wanted something that was colorful and vibrant. I found a few dresses online, but could not decide. Once I saw this French Connection dress, I knew it was perfect. I loved how bright it was as well as the watercolor print. The style of the dress is perfect and exactly what I was looking for! I added a belt on mine to give it a bit more pow! I kept my accessories simple, using my blue Rebecca Minkoff clutch and my Lisi Lerch tassel earrings, which I bought specifically for this dress. I did my own hair and opted for an updo since the weather was warm (didn’t want my hair sticking to my neck). I kept my makeup super simple, no eyeshadow, just mascara on my eyes and I used some foundation, bronzer and blush. I have another wedding in June and can not wait to share that look! Happy Monday!

That dress is rad! I’ll be looking for that ASAP – I have a couple weddings/wedding showers/baby showers popping up on the calendar. This looks like it lets you stand out, without trying to over-shadow (always a difficult balance, isn’t it? 🙂 )

  Thanks girl! Better hurry they are starting to sell out! They also have a skirt version. I was afraid that the dress would be too light because of the white background, but was pleasantly surprised when it arrived in the mail because it was bright pops of color. You are right it is hard to find a dress that allows you to stand out, but still not upstage others. I was very happy with the dress and I think you would be too!!
