THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT MADEWELL

We all know there’s an endless amount of denim brands out there. It’s seriously a never-ending list. I will also admit that I have my fair share of jeans. It’s a closet staple, but there are SO MANY different washes and styles. And don’t get me started on the sizing. This is where I wish sizing was universal. My size varies depending on the brand and this drives me bananas! Not all denim is created equal! I have lots of brands that I always buy, but there is one brand I truly love. Madewell designs some of my favorite jeans, specifically their 10-inch high-waisted. The pair I’m wearing for this look were ones I bought in store. I was looking at them, but originally didn’t see my size. The salesperson saw me looking at them and asked what size I was looking for. I told her I am usually a size 27. She then started to tell me about the denim how they look like a thick, non-stretchy denim, but they have a lot of stretch to them and she suggested I size down one size. So I grabbed a 26 and a few other pairs I was eyeing to go try them on. Side note, I used to hate trying things on in a store. Not sure why, I think I felt like it was a waste of time. But now I always try everything on. No matter what, just to be sure I like how it fits before I buy. Anyways, I tried all the jeans on and these ones were my favorite. I love that they stretch and fit so well. I personally love wearing a bodysuit with high-waisted denim because it accentuates your waist. When I first wore this pair, I was surprised that they didn’t stretch out at all. That’s one of my pet peeves with jeans. I don’t like pairs that will stretch out after wearing them for a day. Those kind are no good! I’d like my jeans to stay the same size all day please and thank you!

I have several pairs of Madwell jeans and find that they seem to fit my body best. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Levi’s wedgie fit and all my Paige and Topshop jeans too. But there’s something about Madewell that keeps me coming back. And I know for some they may not want to spend $100+ on denim, but think of it this way; you get what you pay for (at least for these jeans). The quality is great, the fit is great and they have classic washes. Also love how well they wash. It’s important  to remember that your jeans should not be washed after every wear. That will wear down the denim. Your jeans will last longer if you wash them less! So if you are looking for a denim brand to try, I’d recommend Madewell because that’s probably my most worn denim brand. Also this post was not sponsored at all. This is truly a brand I love to buy and wear often so I wanted to share it with you all!
