FAVORITE TUNIC

tunic| jeans| booties| sunglasses| bag (old) similar here and here

A few years ago I probably would have said no to tunics. I always thought they were too flowy and had way too much material. I’ll admit I was wrong! Can you ever have a top that’s too flowy?! I don’t think so! Tunics are great because they looks amazing with jeans, look wonderful with some denim cutoffs and are the perfect length to wear with leggings. I scored this top during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I was very excited to see it on sale because I have a light blue version from two years ago that I literally wear all the time (especially at work). When I wear it, I receive so many compliments. It’s the perfect little boho top. I loved this mauve colored one when I saw it was a part of the sale. I knew I had to have it because I wear the other one so much. For size reference, I sized down to an extra small because it is very long and flowy. Free people tends to run a little big at times (not all the time though, just depends on the item). On a sidenote, when we shot this look, I was trying to get a lot of movement in the top. I was spinning around and felt like Misty Day from American Horror Story: Coven. That’s my favorite season of that series! Can’t wait for the new season in September. Anyways, this tunic is perfect to transition into fall. Looks great with distressed jeans and sandals or with some high-waisted skinny jeans and booties. Since it is long, I like to do a half tuck or knot the front so I’m not swimming in fabric. I linked everything down below. I found some similar Free People tunics on sale too! Happy shopping!
