It’s that time of year again!! THE BEST sale of the year is right around the corner. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale begins July 21, but if you are a card holder it begins July 13. Prices go up August 7! Here are a few of my tips for shopping the sale:

I highly recommend joining their card holder rewards program. You can choose either a debit or credit card to use while shopping at Nordstrom. As you shop your accrue points to use towards more shopping! The best part about being a card holder is the early access to the anniversary sale. That is the best way to shop this sale. Things sell out quickly and don’t always get restocked for public access. Now is your chance to sign up for a Nordstrom card! Trust me, it’s totally worth it!! You can sign up here. As a card holder you can also make an appointment in store to shop the sale during early access. That’s always a nice option, especially if you prefer shopping in stores rather than online.

This sale is amazing because Nordstrom releases new,  fall styles for great prices. During this sale I have a few items/ categories that I shop for. First, I always check out their sneakers and active wear. Last year I found the gorgeous floral nike sneakers (photo above). If you need some new workout sneakers or workout wear, this is the best time to get them. I always find workout and athleisure wear from Zella. It’s a personal favorite! Long lasting and great prices. I also like to stock up on denim. You can get designer denim for lower prices. Next, I see what I can find for shoes. This year I will be eyeing mules, because I’m obsessed and booties! Vince Camuto has some gorgeous booties that you will be able to rock year round. Then I like to see what basics I can load my closet with. I’m talking about basic t-shirts, sweaters and cardigans that will be perfect closet staples. I also love seeing what handbags are on sale. My favorite is Rebecca Minkoff handbags, always on trend and just plain gorgeous. Those are the items I make sure to buy, but I literally check everything that is on sale! EVERYTHING!

If you have children, now is the best time to get that school shopping done! You can buy them the latest styles, for sale prices. You can’t beat that! Plus you will have one stylish child! I’m going to check out shoes and pants for my little guy.

There are lots of beauty deals for makeup, skin care and hair care. You can find items that are a good bang for your buck! Stock up on your favorite makeup item, hair products and even hair care tools. The prices are so good you will regret it if you don’t!
