FUNCTION OF BEAUTY// UPDATE
About a month ago, I posted about my function of beauty custom shampoo and conditioner (see post here). I wanted to give you all an update about my hair after using this shampoo and conditioner for over a month. Ladies, I’m loving my hair lately! It is so soft, it’s amazing! I can’t stop touching it! I even had my sister touch it and she thought it was the softest hair she’s ever felt. Don’t get me wrong, shampoo and conditioner can only do so much. My sister has her own customized set, but her hair is a slightly different texture than mine so the results vary based on hair type. My hair is fine and has always been baby soft, but this shampoo and conditioner combo has made it unbelievably silky. As soon as I put the conditioner in my hair, all tangles and knots disappear immediately. I do think my hair has more shine to it, too. My hair appears to be healthier and stronger, just overall better. I feel like my hair gets really clean and isn’t weighed down at all. I haven’t even been putting much product in my hair after I wash it either— I don’t feel the need to. I have also been following the directions that came with my set. It suggested I wash my hair 4-5 times a week, which is a little more than I normally would, but it’s been working fine for me and my hair. I also used to struggle with dry scalp. In the past I used Neutrogena T-Gel. It did the job, but it took some time to start working and it had an awful chemical smell. Since using this awesome set, my scalp is no longer dry! If you are looking for a new shampoo and conditioner to try that is also personalized, I highly recommend function of beauty. You won’t be disappointed! (I’ll do another update in a month or two.)
