Valentine’s Day is just around the corner ladies! That means it’s the perfect time to try a bold lip for date night. I thought it would be fitting to post about pink and red lipstick shades. Before applying any lip color, read about what I suggest you use as a primer here. Trust me, it will help your color last! Alright, starting from the bottom left is MAC Russian Red. It’s a bold, classic blue undertones red. It’s a matte lipstick with a rich color pay-off. If you love red lips, this is a color you need to have in your collection. Next is NARS Schiap, a shocking and vivid pink. It’s a semi-matte finish so it is not a totally matte finish. There is a bit of sheen, but nothing like a gloss. It’s a nice pop of color and looks great on everyone. MAC Snob is a cool shade of bubblegum pink. It’s a leery light color, but still packs a punch. This lipstick is a satin finish— not entirely matte— it’s similar to a semi-matte. Another great red shade is NARS Heat Wave. It’s a red shade with orange undertones and is semi-matte. The color is very different from MAC Russian Red, but still a great red to add to your lipstick collection. Lastly, is another gorgeous red shade, STILA Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Beso. It’s another true red, similar to MAC Russian Red. It goes on like a gloss, but dries into a matte. This is my favorite red lipstick shade because of the lasting color pay-off. Complete your Valentine’s Day look with some beautiful statement earrings. You can see the tassel earrings in this post.
