It’s a known fact that I am a beauty junkie. I love trying new products to see what works for me and what doesn’t. When it comes to foundation, I want something that has coverage, but doesn’t look caked on. I still want to look and feel like me. I used to use bareMinerals liquid foundation, which I loved and will still use on occasion, but it just wasn’t doing it for me anymore. I have seen many good reviews on this MAKEUP FOREVER Ultra HD Liquid Foundation, so I thought I would give it a try. I tried it in October of 2016 and have been hooked since. I love that it is easy to apply and has buildable coverage. Some days, my skin is far from perfect, adult acne I’m talking about you! This foundation helps hide those imperfections and evens out my skin tone. When I first started using this foundation, I used a brush to apply it. After about a week, I switched over to the Beauty Blender sponge. I prefer the look of the foundation when applied with a sponge, rather than a brush. I usually buy the Beauty Blender in packs, where you get a better deal. I have also purchased them at Costco, they were about $5 cheaper than normal. When I apply the foundation, I wet my sponge, which makes it grow in size. I squeeze the sponge to get rid of extra water. I pump two-three pumps of foundation onto the side of my hand. I dip my sponge (round bottom of sponge into the foundation). I start dabbing onto my face using the sponge. Don’t wipe across your skin, just dab or bounce the sponge on your face. Just keep doing that until the foundation is blended. I’m happy with this foundation and plan on sticking with it for a while. I’m on my second bottle!
