BEAUTY BABBLE: FAVORITE FACE MASKS

face-masks-review

As you can see, I love face masks. I am always trying new ones, but these ones are currently my favorites. Of course I don’t use them all at once or use them everyday. I will use them when I feel like my skin is needing a little extra attention. First we have the three L’OREAL ones. Each one is a clay mask and does something specific for your skin. The black clay‘s purpose is to detox and brighten dull skin. I will use it when I feel like my skin needs an added boost in radiance or if I’m starting to break out a little bit, because let’s be honest, it still happens to adults occasionally. The green clay mask purifies and mattifies your skin. I use this one the least, but still love it. I really should use it more often to help my skin, when I breakout. The smell of this one is amazing too! The red clay one is my favorite out of these three clay masks. This one exfoliates your skin. When you go to take it off, you can feel the tiny beads scrubbing those dead skin cells away. I feel like after I use it, my makeup goes on much smoother and looks more natural —not cakey. It helps create an even and smooth canvas for my makeup. All three of these clay masks harden once they dry on your skin so you feel like your face can’t move! I leave them on for about 10-15 minutes. I also don’t go crazy putting too much product on because you don’t need to over do it.

Next is this PETER THOMAS ROTH Rose Stem Cell mask. It is a tad expensive, but this stuff goes a long way. A little product works wonders. This fights the signs of aging, you know wrinkles and all that other fun stuff that comes with getting older. It helps tone your complexion and helps skin appear younger. It is a gel mask and it always feels nice and cold when I apply it. You could also keep it in the fridge if you want it to be extra cold. That would be nice on hot, summer nights. There are two ways to apply this mask. You can either put a thick layer on for 10 minutes and then wash it off or you can put a light layer on before bed and sleep with it on all night then wash it off in the morning. If you do it all night, make sure you let it dry before going to bed. Your hair and pillow will stick to your face! I usually leave it on all night. I will put it on after my moisturizer, as my last step. I do love how it feels and I really do believe it has helped my skin. Side-note, it smells like roses and I know this is not a scent everyone enjoys. Some may find it too strong.

Lastly, the FIRST AID BEAUTY Oatmeal mask is amazing! This brand never disappoints. Oatmeal is not only good for your body, but great for your skin. This mask is perfect for dry skin. I tend to have dry skin, not oily skin so this mask has been a lifesaver in rehydrating my skin. I only leave it on for 10 minutes no more than that. It’s quick, simple and good for your skin. Are there face masks you absolutely love?
